The Krakow Valleys by bike

Our cycling tour begins on the outskirts of Krakow valleys near the Bat Cave. The route leads through the woods and majestic rock formations. Riding down between the cliffs one can experience extraordinary atmosphere of tranquillity and some taste of melancholy. We also visit some nice caves there. Some of them still hide their secrets so perhaps you are the guy who will happen to discover another treasure inside. Our first destination is Wierzchowska Cave. The cave is undoubtedly one of the most often visited tourist attractions in the commune. It is located in the Kluczwody Valley, about 16km away from Krakow, and is the largest Karst form of this type in the Krakowska Highland. The unusual cave interior arose interest in scientists, who conducted many research activities in it. During archaeological work, bones of animals of the glacier time and traces of Neolithic human activities were found here. Afterwards we visit the Kluczwody and Kobylanska Valley. Kobylanska valley belongs to one of the most beautiful valley in Krakow area. The Będkowska Valley is our next stop. We can have some fresh and delicious fish and chips in the traditional fish-farm there. This valley is a perfect place for climbers, and every adventurous, nature loving person will be delighted. The Będkowska Valley belongs to the Jura Krakowsko-Częstochowska, a region of highlands where rocks appear on slopes of the valley.
The route we offer is one of the most beautiful routs around Krakow. It lets you know the local Polish culture and folklore much closer and allow to enjoy fresh air, natural beauty and freedom. The Krakow Valleys are rich in rare species of plants and natural rock formations, therefore you can really take a good rest there and forget about the city traffic. Join us and discover some magical places where high limestone cliffs rise steeply out of lush green, where you can regain bodily and mental balance and tranquillity.
